Father & Son's started with Oklahoma Smash Burgers and Phat Kraphao restaurants in Hua Hin and expanded into Bangkok with an unique fusion concept that combines two distinct culinary traditions: American-style Oklahoma Smash Burgers and Thai-inspired Phat Kraphao (also spelled Pad Kra Pao or Pad Krapow).
Oklahoma Smash Burgers are a popular style of Burger where a ball of ground beef, topped with thin sliced onions is "smashed" onto a hot griddle, creating a thin, crispy-edged patty with a juicy interior. This method maximizes the Maillard reaction, resulting in a flavorful crust.
Phat Kraphao is a beloved Thai dish which we prepare in a "Dry" - old traditional style with stir-fried minced Australian Beef cooked with holy basil, garlic, chili, and a savory-sweet sauce. It's typically served over steamed jasmine rice and topped with a fried egg.
Our restaurants have a modern, casual vibe with a blend of American diner and Thai street food aesthetics, and vibrant art of black&white photographs decor.
Service is our signature, right after high quality ingredients while all our spices, seasonings and sauces are homemade and created with passion.
Father & Son's restaurants offer a delightful mix of comfort food and bold flavors, coming from our home-made and own seasoning recipes, appealing to fans of both American and Thai cuisines with a mix of some European delights. And another specialty is that in each of our restaurants, you will find another culinary highlight on the menu, which we don´t serve in all branches.
